About The Role

As our Product Specialist, your primary goal will be to ensure customers succeed with Bonsai by providing tailored onboarding, proactive support, and expert guidance. You’ll act as a trusted advisor for small businesses, helping them unlock the full potential of our platform and addressing their evolving needs.

In this role, you’ll own customer relationships from the moment they sign up, guide them through the onboarding process, and identify opportunities to deliver value through Bonsai’s features. By working closely with our Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams, you’ll play a vital role in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Onboarding Clients: Welcome new users and guide them through their first steps, ensuring they’re set up for success and feel confident using Bonsai.
  • Building Relationships: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular check-ins and tailoring solutions to their unique business needs.
  • Proactive Engagement: Identify opportunities for clients to benefit from additional Bonsai features and provide recommendations that align with their goals.
  • Client Advocacy: Share customer feedback and insights with internal teams to drive product improvements and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Problem Solving: Assist clients in overcoming any challenges with empathy and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • 1+ year of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, or similar roles, ideally within SaaS.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to continuous growth and learning. You understand that every challenge is an opportunity and you get excited about learning new things.
  • This is a fully remote position - experience with remote work is required and you will need access to a proper working environment, including super high-speed internet.
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets
