Job Description

Do you have a background in facility and security management? Are you looking for a new opportunity to take a leadership role that would help to support an organization’s regional sites for facility and security related topics? Bosch has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Twin Cities metro office, you will be responsible for the availability and proper functioning of infrastructure and real estate. In addition, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect company assets, employees, and visitors.

As the Regional Facilities Project Manager, you will:

 

  • Lead planning, awarding and management of trades, repairs, conversion/new construction measures and building security.
  • Implement and maintain security measures including coordinating emergency response efforts as a member of the site management team and reporting to the divisional security.
  • Search for new lease locations and support the property management during lease negotiations.
  • Coordinate relocations and restructuring of work areas as well as the planning and implementation of maintenance and repair work.
  • Be responsible for planning, monitoring, controlling and optimizing property-related costs and budgets.
  • Collaborate with corporate security manager in the development, implementation and monitoring of security policies and procedures
  • Promote a culture of security excellence across all work areas
  • Introduce suitable tools and processes in the areas of project management, energy management, space management, relocation management, maintenance, visitor support, building cleaning and security.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and cost savings. This also includes monitoring energy consumption and environmental impact.

Qualifications

  • B.S. preferably in Facility Management, industrial engineering, or security management, a comparable field of study is also acceptable.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in facility management and security.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%
  • Knowledge of commercial tenancy law, SAP CAFM and CAD.
  • Knowledge of relevant technical guidelines, standards, and local laws and regulations related to security and premises.
  • Experience in project and facilities budget management.
  • Experience in investigations and document management.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
  • Time management and coordination skills are essential.
