About the role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an SEO Specialist, you'll ensure our websites are technically optimised for search engines, improving organic search visibility and driving relevant traffic. You'll work closely with the website development team to implement SEO best practices and strategies to enhance website speed and overall information architecture.

In this role, you'll optimise website content to boost organic search rankings and drive relevant traffic. You'll collaborate with content creators, marketing specialists, and other teams to implement Semantic SEO, link-building & content syndication strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Optimise website content for targeted keywords and user intent, including web pages, blog posts, and product pages.
  • Implement on-page optimisation techniques, such as improving meta titles, meta descriptions, heading tags, and URL structures.
  • Own and drive the link-building strategy and roadmap for Builder.ai globally. 
  • Utilise a variety of insight and outreach tools to provide a link-building roadmap for organic growth initiatives for Builder.ai to drive traffic and engagement
  • Constitute as the SEO expert within the organisation for both link-building and on-page SEO best practices, sharing learnings and insights across the global organisation
  • Collaborate with the digital team, SEO agency, and partners to identify and fix technical issues affecting SEO and website performance. This includes guiding the development of new website pages to ensure top-notch SEO setup.
  • Work closely with content, design, and other departments to align our content with broader company objectives.
  • Execute technical SEO strategies to improve website performance, navigation, and accessibility.
  • Stay updated on industry changes and updates, like algorithm developments, to ensure preparedness and provide expert insights to keep key stakeholders informed.
  • Conduct in-depth audits of in-house projects to find optimisation opportunities and enhance the website's overall health.
  • Optimise the website’s accessibility, indexability, content management systems, information architecture, site speed, and usability.
  • Provide clear and specific directions to development teams, interacting with them on ticket management systems such as ClickUp.
  • Monitor search engine algorithms and updates to ensure compliance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer science or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in SEO including content optimisation, link building and on-page skillsets.
  3. Proven experience in content-led SEO or on-page SEO management, preferably from an agency or related to the software industry.
  4. In-depth knowledge of on-page optimisation techniques, including keyword research, meta tags optimisation, semantic SEO, knowledge graph building, internal linking, and content optimisation.
  5. Proficiency in technical SEO & content optimisation techniques tools like SurferSEO, SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog and SEO Monitor.
  6. Proficiency in prompt engineering to tackle content SEO requirements & optimise with AI tools like SurferSEO.
  7. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive actionable insights.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams globally. 
  9. Strong understanding of SEO principles and search engine algorithms.
  10. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work and results.
  11. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Familiarity with web content management systems (CMS), version controllers, information retrieval models and, Semantic search is a plus.
