About the Role
As the Sales Team Lead for Careem, you will be responsible for driving new restaurant partnerships across Abu Dhabi. Your leadership will be instrumental in motivating and guiding our sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets. Your expertise in sales strategy, team management, and market insights will play a pivotal role in shaping our success across these key markets.

About the Team
You will get to be part of a dynamic team composed of Careem veterans to new tigers who joined on a mission to build and propel Careem Food to become the market leader. We strive to embody our values of ownership, shooting to the moon, and being of service to customers, partners, colleagues, and captains. As a Sales Team Lead you will have the essential role of managing the team responsible for executing our sales strategy and vision by successfully signing and onboarding new partners and improving the customer experience through an increased restaurant supply for our customers.

What you'll do
Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, inspire, and manage the sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team's success and professional development
  • Pipeline management and driving efficiency
  • Support the team in closing deals when needed as well as taking some key negotiations personally
Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop sales strategies and priorities
  • Creative and data driven in order to pitch and build supporting materials to close deals
  • Create, implement and improve new and existing processes
What you'll need
  • 3-5 years of experience managing sales team(s)
  • Proven track record of success in direct sales as well as managing teams
  • Track record in team transformations from strategy to management
  • Building a culture of high performance, momentum and joint sense of purpose
  • Food delivery/tech experience experience is a plus
  • Proficient in data analysis, excel, etc.
  • Experience with CRM tools
