Role: Business Development Manager (SALES)
Location: Denver, CO
Pay: Base $75K, Negotiable DOE
Earn $100K+ Per Year With Commissions!
Requirements:
Proven Experience in Business Development, Sales, or Related
MINIMUM 3 years B2B Sales Experience
Security/Military/Law Enforcement Background HIGHLY Preferred
Job Functions- Identify and pursue new business opportunities from start to finish, securing new clients.
- Analyze local and expansion markets to identify potential clients and buyers.
- Develop pricing and business development strategies to meet sales goals.
- Prepare proposals, responses to RFPs, and engaging sales presentations.
- Collaborate with local management and Regional Vice Presidents to plan, conduct, and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Follow up on referrals and self-generated leads, preparing necessary reports on lead status.
- Plan and organize activities to build the Citadel Security brand in the assigned market.
- Negotiate sales terms, contract wording, and timing of implementation.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to establish connections and generate leads.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and sales activities using CRM software.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
- Engage in community involvement to build relationships within the security industry and local business community, enhancing networking and brand awareness.
Requirements- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the security services, facility management, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of financial reports and sales metrics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and accountable for achieving sales targets.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Passion for the security industry and a commitment to making the world a safer place.
- Security, military, or law enforcement background is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of contract structuring, pricing models, and RFP processes.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
$75,000 - $100,000 a year
Starting base pay $75K/YR
Negotiable up to $100K/YR (Dependent on Experience)
