City Cast is seeking a highly creative and collaborative contractor to join our City Cast Chicago team as a part-time Social Media Manager for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, and Reddit. In this role, you’ll be responsible for social content creation, ideating and executing videos and static posts, and building social communities on behalf of the City Cast Chicago team and brand. You’ll closely collaborate with City Cast’s Director of Marketing and the Executive Producer to leverage social to build the City Cast Chicago brand.
The ideal candidate has passion and knowledge about all things Chicago: the 95-96 Bulls, deep dish pizza, and everything in between. We’re looking for someone who has experience in content creation but also understands the nature of building a new brand on multiple social media platforms.
This is a part-time, temporary 1099 contractor position. The role is expected to last three months, with a commitment of 20 hours per week. There is potential for this contract to be renewed. As a contractor, you will not be eligible for employee benefits or perks.
