STAT Compliance Associate

We are looking for a consultant who will fulfill the obligations of Tax & Statutory Compliance accountant as described below:

 We will trust you to:

• Assist with analysis of the accounting data for the purposes of tax compliance, preparation of required tax and statutory reporting
• Submission of the required reporting to the attention of authorities in different EMEA jurisdictions
• Analyzing the statutory accounting data held in the accounting system under supervision, making sure that the taxes are posted and kept correctly in the system, collaborating with GL team in making adjustments where required
• Assist with calculation and/or verification of corporate income tax and deferred tax
• Track the tax and statutory required payments to the budget to be performed in due timelines
• Collaborate with the GL team and third-party consultants on various aspects of tax compliance of the client
• Assist during quarterly/ annual US GAAP closing procedures, including preparation of tax provision packages, collaborating with GL team to make sure that the required tax postings are made in the accounting system, making sure that the required tax tasks are completed in due timelines
• Analyze the official notice letters issued by authorities to the attention of the client, support in investigating each case.

• 1-2 years experience
• Prepare the monthly VAT, Intrastat & other compliance reports as per the legislative requirements in specific assigned countries
• Prepare the monthly SOX binders
• Reconcile US to Local GAAP
• Assist with the preparation of the Local GAAP financial statements
• Work with SAP (as well as other ERP and Tax Engine Software) on a weekly basis
