About this role:

As a Regional Maintenance Manager, an integral part of the Operational Leadership Team, you will work out of our Corporate Office located in Reno and Las Vegas Nevada. You will oversee a portfolio of 28 Communities and provide in-person support, guidance, and leadership to Service Managers in your portfolio. Driving to various communities throughout the valley will be required 80% of the time.

Salary range: $79K - $80K

What you’ll do - Includes but are not limited to:

Oversee the hands-on maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the communities in your portfolio. This includes performing consistent inspections, diagnosing problems and making necessary repairs in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, flooring, carpentry, dry walling, appliances and exterior structures.
Oversee maintenance staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and discipline, in accordance with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Use extensive knowledge of problem-solving skills in the following areas: Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, Construction, Capital Projects, and all safety & OSHA related standards.
Work with Regional Managers, Community Operations, on the day-to-day operations including service-related issues, capital planning, and vendor oversight.
Partner with other operational leaders and on-site service managers to work on vendor partnerships, health, safety, security, and emergency response procedures.
Represent the organization professionally in all interactions with vendors, clients, staff members and residents as applicable.

What you will need:

High school diploma or equivalent; college or trade school degree, diploma, or certifications.
Satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license and insurance are required due to this positions travel requirement.
EPA certification and CPO certifications required or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hiring.
5+ years of experience leading large teams through build-outs, major capital projects, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
