The Company

APAC Recruitment is working exclusively with Congo Brands in its search for a commercially focused Finance Business partner, to lead the APAC region’s commercial & supply chain finance agenda, working closely with the Business Unit Finance Director as well as APAC Directors of Sales and Supply Chain.

 

Congo Brands is a US-based, high-growth company that manages a number of rapidly-growing brands within the beverage sector, initiated and led by high-profile individuals in social media.

 

The company is now establishing an APAC Regional HQ in Singapore as it expands into Asia Pacific, beginning with the PRIME Hydration, PRIME Energy and Alani Nu ranges.

 

The Role

 

As a Project Manager at Congo Brands, you will ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner and gain a good level of understanding of the development to be able to communicate the projects status to senior management, whilst being comfortable in challenging the paradigm when required.

You will join a recently formed regional office in Singapore, and the role will initially require a hands-on and can-do approach. But, even when systems and procedures are in place, the rapid expansion will ensure an exciting and fast-paced journey.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Overall Project Leadership: Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of key regional projects from ideation to execution and successful launch, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a central point of contact across multi-functional teams, drive effective communication, collecting functional requirements, and developing collaboration frameworks to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Financial Healthiness: Analyzes the project’s cost structure and any significant deviations from the approved cost structure.
  • Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine key processes, ensuring they are well-documented and guided for continuous operational improvement to deliver goals for the organization
  • Meeting and Reporting Excellence: Organize and oversee functional team meetings and reports, ensuring that key decisions, updates, and information are timely documented and disseminated across stakeholders.
  • Risk and Change Management: Identify project risks and issues proactively, establish mitigation strategies, and ensure robust solutions are implemented to maintain project momentum.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data to support decision-making, monitor project performance, and provide actionable recommendations for leadership.

 

 

This position requires high calibre candidates with the following skillset

 

·       Education Qualifications: Degree; PMP qualifications will be a plus

·       Experience: 2-3 years of experience in project management, market research, or business analysis, preferably within FMCG or F&B industry

·       Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse projects through comprehensive planning, risk assessment, and SOP development.

·       Communication Skills: Confident and savvy communication skills, capable of delivering clear, concise messages and building productive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across all levels.

·       Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, quickly learn new tools and processes, and effectively handle changing priorities.

·       Motivation and Initiative: Self-driven and proactive, with a strong track record in operations and management.

·       Technical Skills: High degree of proficiency Excel, Powerpoint; knowledge in PowerBI and Monday.com will be a plus

·       Travel: Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
