Job Description:
Copia is seeking a Development Analyst to support the development of large-scale utility projects within our growing solar and BESS portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, permitting, and execution phases of these projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, strong communication skills, a desire to learn about renewable energy markets, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development of solar and energy storage projects.
The Development Analyst will report directly to the EVP, Chief Development Officer working closely with Copia’s development teams in an individual contributor capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
•Track and manage project deliverables.
•Manage regular reporting for both internal and external consumption.
•Assist in the creation and management of detailed budgets for the greenfield portfolio projects.
•Manage the Copia pipeline look-book that provides a detailed overview and summary of each project.
•Develop and update development progress visuals, including PowerPoint decks.
•Provide ongoing support to the Development team, as required, throughout the construction process.
•Upon performing the above duties, you may be asked to take on project development, permitting, land use entitlement, interconnection, and environmental compliance responsibilities for future projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel
•Ability to work in the Dana Point office a minimum of 3 days per week.
•Ability to travel up to 30%
