Emergency Warehouse Associate

CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build sustained, community-based response programs to natural disasters. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CORE GA provides free vaccinations and additional resources to disadvantaged communities and emerging hotspots around Georgia. This is accomplished through maintaining strategic partnerships with local health agencies and community-based organizations to reach high-risk populations in vulnerable areas.   

• Process order requests for teams across California
• Organize pallets on racking and items shelving throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Receive, inventory, and store all incoming shipments in the proper location in the warehouse.
• Conduct precise inventory counts in the warehouse and communicate any discrepancies to the Warehouse Management team.
• Assist with ensuring the technology inventory is current and accounting for all tech assets.
• Organize and properly palletize materials for shipments and deliveries.
• Load vehicles and trucks with materials to be sent off for deliveries and/or deployments.
• Assist in maintaining the upkeep of the warehouse and office space.
• Fulfill any specific requests of the Logistics or Warehouse Management.

• A minimum of one year of Warehouse and/or Logistics experience.
• Proficiency in the operation of a manual and electric pallet jack, forklift, and reach truck for pallet racking and moving. 
• Proficiency in pallet wrapping and/or utilizing a pallet wrapping machine.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (including MS Word, Excel, etc.)
• Readiness to commit and adhere to the values, mission and vision of CORE.
• Excellent writing, reporting, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Well-organized and proactive approach to managing tasks

• Must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and push carts up to 60 pounds.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment for an entire shift.
• Must be able to stand at two-hour intervals in personal protective equipment.
• Work a full 40-hour work week.
