As a member of the company’s Capacity Planning team, the Data Center Capacity Analyst will play a central role in helping the Company to achieve key objectives related to the Data Center Intelligence program. The Analyst will collaborate with Product, Sales Engineering, and General Management to develop and maintain reporting for a dynamic set of ongoing initiatives. A proactive self-starter, the Analyst will identify opportunities for process improvements, work cross-functionally with teams across departments, and drive these initiatives to successful completion.
Duties:
Inventory Management and Reporting
- Maintain ownership of accurate space and power inventory records using inventory management software
- Standardize and update floor planning drawings, electrical, and mechanical schematics using inventory management software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Prepare and analyze capacity and inventory dashboard reports to support decision-making for Product, Sales Engineering, and General Management teams
- Identify and address capacity constraints, including highly utilized electrical equipment, by researching mitigation strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions
Business Process Improvement
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to establish operational objectives and monitor performance
- Drive process improvements to enhance data accuracy, streamline workflows, and expedite information delivery
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for optimization and present actionable recommendations to improve operations
Data Analysis and Insights
- Conduct research and analysis on space and power inventory to support Sales and Data Center Operations
- Analyze trends in customer metrics, order management, and capacity utilization to identify trends and inform business decisions
- Create tailored reports and deliver data-driven insights to address evolving organizational needs
Stakeholder Communication
- Present analysis results and recommendations to cross-functional teams to ensure recommendations drive and operational improvements
- Support internal teams with strategic, data-driven recommendations to optimize operations and meet business goals
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment that includes at least two onsite days per week in the downtown Denver office, currently Tuesdays and Wednesdays for in-person collaboration
- Project-based travel approximately once per quarter, with flexibility to adapt to evolving business and project needs
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for creating, updating, and managing technical drawings
- Experience with inventory management software and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to support reporting and analysis
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a systematic approach to interpretating and leveraging data
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with data center operations or space and power inventory management is preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in technical drawings, reports, and dashboards.
- Solid finance or business operations background with a proven track record of implementing systematic automation and driving operational efficiency.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- Coursework or background in engineering is a plus
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, capacity planning, or a similar field, with experience in data center infrastructure or IT capacity planning strongly preferred

Compensation:
Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $90,000 and $110,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus and equity, based upon individual and company performance.
