Field Service Supervisor

Job Description

The Field Service Supervisor at Cornerstone Building Brands is responsible for leading and managing warranty service operations for both residential and commercial window products, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Field Service Manager, this role coordinates a skilled team of service technicians, oversees warranty claims processing, and ensures adherence to quality control and safety standards. As the primary point of contact for escalated issues, the supervisor guarantees efficient problem resolution while upholding company policies and warranty protocols.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of window warranty technicians, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance technicians' expertise in product knowledge, advanced repair techniques, and exceptional customer service standards

Warranty Service Management:

  • Manage and oversee warranty claims, ensuring rapid and effective resolution while maintaining company standards
  • Inspect products and installations to assess warranty coverage and determine appropriate repair or replacement actions
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, proactively addressing concerns, managing expectations, and providing timely updates on the status of services

Operational Coordination:

  • Maintain meticulous records of service orders, warranty claims, and technician performance data, ensuring accuracy and transparency
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to obtain necessary replacement parts and warranty approvals in a timely manner
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards during all service operations

Customer Experience & Escalation Management:

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer issues, resolving high-priority concerns with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction levels through effective service delivery, personalized problem-solving, and proactive communication

Reporting & Process Optimization:

  • Drive the development and implementation of streamlined procedures to optimize warranty service operations
  • Analyze service performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvements
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting warranty service performance, customer feedback, and suggested improvements

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in warranty repair, window installation, or construction services, with a strong understanding of window and door product warranties
  • 1+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity
  • In-depth knowledge of window and door products, installation processes, and warranty procedures
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective customer relations and team leadership
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities and high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency with service management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The role involves a combination of office and fieldwork, with a blend of administrative duties and hands-on oversight
  • Ideal candidate will be located near central Florida
  • Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. 
  • Occasional travel to customer sites, including driving company vehicles, is required

The US base salary for this role is $75,000 - $85,000 annually + company vehicle + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
