Machine Operator

JOB DETAILS

SHIFT: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - Monday - Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• You understand what has priority in the daily production workflow and are quick to complete all assigned tasks while meeting measurable production metrics
• Regularly stepping up to help our manufacturing process and co-workers be successful as a production team
• You have a great understanding of the machinery that you run and are even able to diagnose repairs when the equipment is down
• You use your basic math and computer skills to make sure equipment is set correctly and you assist co-workers when needed
• Constantly work safely and comply with all safety regulations
• Operate machines to produce the correct items for orders while standing in an upright position for extended periods of time and moving about on foot
• Will be trained to use forklift to transport heavy weight metal coils
• Willingness to participate daily in shop cleaning responsibilities

• Physical Stamina and Strength
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Safety-First Culture
• Dependable, detail-oriented, hardworking, and self-motivated
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
• Experience with Forklifts helpful but not required 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Experience is not required, we are willing to train self motivated, haedworking individuals!
