About the role

As an Accounts Payable (“AP”) Associate at Cover Genius, you will be working amongst a rapidly expanding Global Financial Operations team, reporting to the Associate Director, Global Accounts Payable. This role  requires a knowledgeable and resourceful team player who will support and assist in the evolution of the day-to-day AP and T&E transactions while working cross-functionally across the organization.  The AP Associate will support key financial processes relating to global costs and will continually support and enable all departments of the business and its rapid growth. We are looking for a driven, reliable, and self-starting person who works exceptionally well with others, has stellar communications skills and wants to be part of a global insurtech company with the vision to protect all customers of the world’s largest digital companies.

• Play an integral role in the global AP function of invoice processing, vendor data maintenance and payment processing
• Manage vendor queries
• Data entry and follow up approvals for all supplier invoices
• Accurate coding and processing of weekly supplier payments
• Providing support to users of our T&E platform, Navan
• Ensure costs are accurately reflected in Netsuite on a day-to-day basis
• Follow up and resolve expense account queries
• Managing credit card payment process, accurate account coding and collection of expense receipts
• Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and overall process improvement
• Support the financial reporting department in providing audit evidence as requested
• Partake in ad hoc accounting or finance projects and analyses.

• Business university degree with post-qualification
• 3+ years of AP experience
• Experience working with NetSuite, Coupa, Navan and Ramp preferred
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google sheets
• Thrives on collaboration and operates with a strong internal stakeholder mentality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to quickly identify both risks and opportunities while maintaining a strong focus on both process improvements and results
• Able to cope with a dynamic and high change environment
• Takes ownership for responsibilities with a positive attitude
• Proactive self-starter, resourceful with a strong work ethic
• Capable of working independently as well as working in a team
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

*US Candidates: The base salary range for this role is between $68,000 and $105,000 depending on experience and location. All roles are eligible to receive equity.
