Job Description

The Digital Workplace Analyst (Contract), Public Affairs and Communications is responsible for supporting and coordinating the production and publication of content in a variety of mediums, across a variety of digital channels including our public-facing website and intranet as well as supporting and coordinating editorial content. This is a 12-month contract position working part-time at 25-30 hours/week.

Team Description

The Digital Team under CPP Investments’ Public Affairs and Communications is responsible for creating and maintaining best-in-class user experience on its public-facing website and internal communications. Applying digital solutions to manage our reputation, engage our stakeholders, empower our employees, share our knowledge and insights, and build and preserve public trust.

Accountabilities:

  • Support the Managers and Directors, Digital Communications and other key members on the Digital and Content teams, in managing the redevelopment of the corporate intranet and public-facing website. 
  • Produce and manage project materials, including presentations, sprint tickets, and governance documents 
  • Capture insights from stakeholder sessions and document them in an actionable format. 
  • Analyze sites and content, existing analytics, and search results. 
  • Provide content updating support in the existing intranet and corporate website. 
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of new content prior to publication. 
  • Provide content migration support. 
  • Exemplify the organization’s Guiding Principles of high performance, integrity, and partnership.
  • Contribute to a team culture focused on flawless execution, quick response times, and strong project/process management.
  • Provide support and assistance to other team members and participate in special department projects. 

Qualifications

  • College or University degree in related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Project management skills to ensure the efficient, timely and best-in-class delivery of communications materials.
  • Demonstrated experience with the entire digital content lifecycle, including design, development, testing and publishing. 
  • Relevant preferred experience includes time spent in communications, financial services; government; journalism, and other digital design fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook and experience working with AI software (Copilot)
  • Working knowledge of workplace technology such as intranets, collaboration software, messaging applications, content management systems, or employee social networks. 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Productivity tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Experienced in SharePoint and OneDrive. 
  • Experienced in website content management systems. 
  • Extremely high attention to detail. 
  • High-performing team player with a collaborative approach and actively contributes to joint projects and initiatives. 
  • Able to work flexible hours outside of core office hours as required.
