Marketing (Social Media) Specialist

The Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in assisting Sales & Marketing with planning, developing, and executing marketing campaigns and other various marketing activities to support business needs. This person will support trade shows, sales collateral, create content, manage social media, coordinate events, track campaign performance, and analyze data to support marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities (Marketing Support):

  • Planning and managing marketing efforts for trade shows, conferences, events and meetings.
  • Maintaining an inventory of marketing materials while coordinating new material creation as needed.
  • Artwork Coordination and Sample Creation: Work with the marketing team to coordinate the creation of new artwork and assemble mock-ups on products such as bags and belly bands for new customer presentations. 
  • Social / Digital Management:
    • Coordinating marketing campaigns, initiatives and activities
    • Creating content for marketing campaigns as needed
    • Online Community Engagement
    • Investigate Collaborations & Influencer Marketing
    • Campaign Execution & Analysis
    • Social Listening & Trend Monitoring

Key Responsibilities (Sales Support):

  • Arrange for creation and distribution of sales materials including sell sheets and presentations.
  • Point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by providing information as requested.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure inquiries are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Ordering sales materials and samples as needed.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 4-year college degree in Business Administration or similar field.
  • 1-3 years of Social Media/Digital experience.
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
  • Microsoft Office & SharePoint Proficient.
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player with high level of dedication.
  • Detail-oriented, positive attitude.
