Lead Inventory Coordinator

Job Type: Full-Time
Shifts: Monday - Friday | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Pay: $24.00
Location: Litchfield, IL


Who You Are:

A detail-oriented professional with a strong background in data management, auditing, and compliance. You have a knack for solving complex data problems, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining regulatory compliance. You enjoy collaborating with teams, training others, and driving process improvements while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.


What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct inventory inspections and maintain METRC and Biotrack logs to ensure accurate traceability of plant and product movement throughout the facility.
  • Communicate with the cultivation team to create new plantings in METRC and generate plant tags.
  • Perform weekly physical counts of flower rooms and mother rooms, ensuring accuracy across internal records.
  • Update tracking boards with accurate strain counts per table and per room.
  • Audit all plant rooms monthly through Biotrack and METRC systems.
  • Address discrepancies, document findings, and collaborate with team leads and Compliance Manager to resolve issues.
  • Manage plant waste logging, processing, and proper disposal in Biotrack/METRC.
  • Assist with harvests, uploading new plants into METRC, and completing monthly audits.
  • Train and educate team members on data collection and auditing systems.
  • Submit weekly reports to the Compliance Manager and participate in problem-solving initiatives to improve processes.
  • Evaluate current systems to enhance operations, reporting, and compliance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in data management and auditing.
  • Advanced knowledge of database systems, data integration, and extraction processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

Even Better If:

  • You have experience working with compliance systems in the cannabis industry, such as METRC or Biotrack.
  • You have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • You enjoy training and mentoring team members to meet compliance and quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to climb, stoop, and crouch.
  • Potential exposure to allergens such as dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.
  • Daily use of PPE, including masks, hair nets, respirators, and non-slip shoes.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and in environments with loud noises, such as air compressors and packaging equipment.

Litchfield IL Pay Range
$24$26.50 USD
