A day in the life:

As a Clinical Specialist at CVRx, you will play a vital role in supporting our cutting-edge technology by assisting in the development of tailored sales plans and driving the expansion of our products. The Clinical Specialist at CVRx is responsible for providing clinical support for CVRx technology and business applications through education of current and potential customers, and procedure coverage within a defined region or geography, in partnership with Territory Managers, sales leaders and other key internal partners.

Other duties and areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for effectively communicating product and clinical benefits of Barostim therapy to cardiologists, heart
  failure/hypertension specialists, and cardiac/vascular surgeons to ensure their understanding of the clinical therapy.
• Facilitate trainings and other programs on proper application of Barostim therapy to clinicians, office, and hospital staff.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during implant procedures, follow-up procedures, titrations, and patient
  office visits to ensure positive clinical outcomes.
• Work with Territory Managers in developing effective plans to communicate the benefits of our technology, tailored to
  specific markets.
• Work with Territory Managers, key physicians and site staff in the development and execution of a plan to effectively
  launch CVRx programs at new customer sites and ensure ongoing commitment to the program.
• Drive utilization and continuous expansion of Barostim therapy through disease state education and supporting the
  development of therapeutic programs.
• Act as a clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Meet with existing and potential health care providers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to
  patient care, providing creative and feasible solutions.
• Provide additional back-up support to other field staff as needed.

What we expect from you:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manage relationships with key customer groups, clinicians, physicians, surgical staff and CVRx team members.
• Experience with products for cardiology or cardiac surgery therapeutic devices.
• Ability to master concepts of a medical and surgical nature, as well as that of active implantable medical device technology.
• Independent, self-motivated, self-starter with the drive and persistence to introduce a novel and innovative technology to the market and support it becoming the standard of care.
• Must have the ability to concentrate on detail and work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and an ability to quickly learn Salesforce CRM, content management, learning management and other systems as needed

What we would like to see:

• An advanced degree.
• Healthcare experience beneficial.
• Proven track record with clinical trial and technical training assignments.
• Knowledge of market with clear understanding of competitive devices, strategies, advantages/disadvantages as they
  relate to the company’s devices.
• Ability to interact with R&D, if asked, and represent customer perspective in order to provide input on product enhancements and product development.

Working Conditions:

• This position is remote-based and will require the candidate to live within the region specified.
• This position will require interfacing with multiple internal departments and physician investigators/customers.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to travel 60% or more by car and/or air, with valid driver's license.
• May be required to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus and other diseases.

Salary range for U.S locations (USD): 90,000 - 130,000 per year.

The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location.

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Target Annual Bonus (TAB) which provides the opportunity to earn additional compensation for meeting established bonus objectives as outlined during first 30 days of employment and prorated based on earned annual base salary.
