This role is part of our Technology business unit based in Croatia. Our offices are home to a diverse and talented team of people across various disciplines. JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead the development and ongoing enhancement of a new proprietary system for internal use. This is a critical role in our fast-moving digital environment, where you will work closely with a cross-functional team to ensure smooth execution, clear priorities, and impactful delivery.

You will drive the engineering team’s success, balancing agile methodologies with structured decision-making. Given that this is an internal system, you will need to navigate diverse stakeholder opinions and business needs while keeping the team focused and efficient.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the engineering team in an agile and structured way, ensuring effective collaboration between engineers, architects, designers, DevOps specialists, and other key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to align the roadmap with business needs while maintaining technical feasibility.
  • Foster an agile mindset, balancing responsiveness to business input with disciplined execution.
  • Manage scope, timelines, and priorities, ensuring clarity in objectives and delivery.
  • Be the bridge between technical and business teams, translating high-level goals into actionable tasks.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment across teams through effective communication and reporting.
  • Regularly present progress, goal achievements, and blockers to key stakeholders, ensuring visibility and alignment across the organization.
  • Resolve bottlenecks and conflicts proactively, making clear and resolute decisions in an environment full of diverse opinions.
  • Continuously improve processes, fostering a culture of efficiency and high performance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager (5+ years) leading engineering teams in an agile environment.
  • Strong technical understanding to work effectively with engineers, architects, and DevOps teams (you don’t need to code, but you should understand the development lifecycle).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align teams.
  • Decision-making ability in a dynamic environment – you are open-minded but firm in driving progress.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, especially in environments with multiple opinions and priorities.
  • Ability to clearly present project status, achievements, and blockers to different audiences, from engineers to executives.
  • Proactive and self-driven personality – we value leaders who take ownership and drive success in our organization.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, digital-first companies is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (Croatian language skills are a plus but not required).
