Job Description

Role: .Net Tech Lead

Location: NYC ( 1 or 2 days’ work onsite)

Duration: Long Term

 

Responsibilities

Following are the day-to-day work activities:

  • Requirements understanding and analysis.
  • Understand product vision and expectation on technical solution architecture.
  • Participate in overall application architecture and solutioning.
  • Provide the technical solution for requirements based on the defined architecture and guidelines.
  • Implement unit testing and functional testing.
  • Create/maintain the dev artefacts.
  • Support the release activity.
  • Perform peer code reviews.
  • Interact with business users to understand the requirements.
  • Provide the technical solution for requirements based on the defined architecture and guidelines.
  • Participate in overall application architecture and solutioning.
  • Estimating work items using know estimation techniques and planning the work. 
  • Create/maintain the dev artefacts.
  • Support the release activity.
  • Perform code reviews to maintain a defect free and quality code base.
  • Hands on coding and guiding the dev team in implementing the technical solutions
  • Involve and oversee QA efforts and defining the QA strategy.
  • Take lead in gathering and reporting the daily status to onsite client management.

Requirements

Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are:

  • Strong understanding of design patterns like Factory, Adapter, etc.
  • Experience in implementing SOLID principles, DDD, Clean architecture.
  • Strong experience in .NET Core, ASP.Net MVC Core.
  • Experience in implementing Web APIs and/or asynchronous messaging.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure services. Ex : App Service, Functions, Storage, etc.
  • Must have experience in technical design, coding standards and implement those.
  • Understanding of best, performance oriented & maintainable coding practices.
  • Understanding of functional testing using BDD is a plus.
  • Experience in Agile Scrum methodology.

Should have good communication skills.
