We are seeking a highly motivated Transformation Manager to spearhead our strategic expansion into the regulated European aerospace and defence markets. This is a critical leadership role that requires a deep understanding of complex regulatory frameworks, as well as the ability to drive organizational change and operational excellence.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Business Development Team developing and implementing strategies to ensure full compliance with stringent industry regulations and standards. You will work in a team to align internal processes, systems, and resources with the unique demands of the aerospace and defence sectors. This includes define process optimization, enhancing security protocols, and ensuring quality assurance measures are integrated across all business units.

A key aspect of the position involves identifying and establishing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry bodies, and supply chain partners. You will play a vital role in building relationships that enhance our market positioning and facilitate long-term growth.

The ideal candidate will possess project management skills, a proven track record in leading transformational initiatives in the defense business sector, and a strong understanding of European regulatory landscapes. A background in aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable together with an understanding of the drone industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in researching and drafting initial market entry strategies, focusing on understanding European regulatory frameworks and defense procurement processes.
• Support market analysis by gathering data, identifying key opportunities, and highlighting potential risks and barriers to entry.
• Collaborate with team leads to track milestones, KPIs, and timelines for market entry projects, providing administrative and coordination support.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project documentation aligns with EU defence and aerospace regulations, such as ITAR, GDPR, and national laws.
• Help maintain communication with European regulatory bodies and defence agencies by organizing meetings and supporting certification and licensing processes.
• Participate in identifying compliance gaps by reviewing internal reports and assisting in developing basic mitigation plans.
• Contribute to process improvements by supporting teams in adapting operations, systems, and supply chains to align with European market standards.
• Assist product development and engineering teams by gathering regulatory requirements and ensuring they are integrated into project documentation.
• Support relationship management by coordinating meetings and communications with European defence contractors, technology partners, and agencies.
• Act as a point of contact for internal teams, ensuring smooth communication between European partners and internal stakeholders.
• Promote best practices in compliance and innovation by participating in training sessions and workshops.
• Assist in coordinating cross-border teams by facilitating meetings, sharing documents, and ensuring project information is up to date.
• Contribute to change management efforts by gathering feedback, preparing training materials, and assisting in workforce alignment initiatives.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Engineering, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in aerospace, defence, or a similarly regulated industry, with involvement in market expansion, regulatory affairs, or project management.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to market entry initiatives or international business projects, preferably in the EU or NATO-aligned markets.
• Good understanding of European defence regulations, export controls, and supply chain requirements, with the ability to interpret and apply key standards.
• Proven ability to manage project deliverables, coordinate cross-functional teams, and engage with external partners.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with regulatory bodies or government agencies considered a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in an additional European language is advantageous.
