The Carrier Relationship Coordinator – Truckload Division plays a crucial role in optimizing carrier partnerships and driving company revenue. This position involves analyzing lane data, managing carrier relationships, and collaborating across sales and operations teams to expand our truckload shipment volume. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about building strong carrier partnerships.
1. Lane Data Analysis
• Review and analyze lane data for existing truckload clients.
• Present insights to carriers to negotiate better rates and enhance profitability.
2. Client and Carrier Matching
• Match prospective client lanes with carrier resources to secure new opportunities and grow shipment volume.
3. Carrier Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners through regular communication and strategic collaboration.
4. Carrier Needs Assessment
• Gather insights from carriers to align strategies with their needs and support sales efforts.
5. Project Coordination
• Conduct daily check-ins with the Director of Operations to align on priorities and project progress.
• Manage incoming RFPs, ensuring timely and strategic responses.
6. Data Analysis and Strategy
• Analyze historical rate data to improve pricing strategies and win rates.
• Maintain records of quotes and pricing data to ensure accuracy in future negotiations.
7. Collaboration and Operational Support
• Partner with sales and operations teams to gather information and execute strategies effectively.
