Agile Project Manager

We are looking for a seasoned scrum master to join the Engineering team at DNAnexus to facilitate Agile engineering team's ceremonies  and to coach the team members. This role requires a solid background in Agile methodology and software development; someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, who comes up with creative approaches to address challenges, and who has exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities

• As a scrum master, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies (including facilitate backlog refinenment, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retros)  to ensure efficient sprint execution, remove team blockers, and follow Agile principles for delivering high quality products.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the project timelines and deliverables.
• Track and report on scrum teams’ progress.
• Foster a healthy, productive, and customer focused mindset among the scrum teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional scrum teams across time zones to ensure smooth project execution and launch to production.
• Recommend  company processes and team culture improvements.

• BS degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, Technology Management or similar.
• 3+ years of working as a scrum master or as a technical project manager across multiple Agile teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Google suite a must.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and help remove roadblocks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Self motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
• Scrum master certificate required.
