Product Director, Phone Assistant - Berlin (x/f/m)

What you’ll do

As the Product Management Director for the AI Phone Assistant product, you will build and scale this brand new product in the Doctolib suite. Our vision is for the AI Phone Assistant to revolutionize access to care for patients and day-to-day practice management for practitioners. The phone channel remains a main challenge for patients who struggle to reach and get answers from the practice and for practitioners who struggle to meet the increasing demand with interruptions throughout their day. 

This opportunity will allow you to leverage the latest technologies in AI, NLP, and Voice Recognition to build the best user experiences and scale your product to millions of users.

As a key member of our Leadership team, you will : 

  • Partner with the CPO and CEO to define Doctolib's product strategy and to be an AI first company
  • Partner with country MDs & GTM teams to define Doctolib's go-to-market strategy
  • Be a decisive player in Doctolib's most strategic global decisions (M&A; expansion) in close interaction with our CTO & CEO
  • Have ownership & autonomy on the definition & creation of new product lines that will position Doctolib as one of the most innovative Healthtech companies & AI champion
  • Maintain highest level of security & privacy while building delightful user experiences for millions of users 

Examples of priority key projects and assignments: 

  • Ensure a successful launch of our Phone Assistant in Germany reaching customer satisfaction and business milestones
  • Adapt and successfully launch our Phone Assistant in France 
  • Boost the phone assistant user experience to reach the highest levels of user delight
  • Develop and drive a plan to deploy our Phone Assistant in other geographies
  • Explore new opportunities to leverage telephony in Doctolib to increase the value we deliver to our users

More precisely, you will:

  • Lead several product managers and contribute to the upskilling of the product organization (towards virality, messaging, free-to-paid, product led growth, etc)
  • Be a strong sponsor for learning & development topics in your teams; constantly aiming at increasing the average level of your teams 
  • Develop and grow your talents through effective mentoring and coaching
  • Upskill the product organization with a focus on delivering a consistent level of product management across teams
  • Define, build and operate a game-changing product which will revolutionise how patients and practitioners interact and align with our mission to help practitioners have a better work life and help patients be in better health
  • Collaborate with the engineering, data science, design, and research teams to continuously translate insights into opportunities, hypotheses, tests and features that are proven to delight our 420,000 practitioners and 80M patients
  • Bring best in class Product machinery ways of working & processes to foster Product led growth dynamic
  • Closely collaborate with our local GTM teams & leaders to constantly refine our user acquisition, growth, monetization, engagement and satisfaction strategies, cluster by cluster, country by country, etc
  • Stay close to customers, gather feedback, and use customer insights to co-build the best products for healthcare professionals
  • Continuously measure the adoption and impact of your product changes and the health of our network, and iterating as needed to achieve the desired outcomes for your product and our overall company goals

Who you are

  • You have a successful track record as a senior leader in a fast paced environment;
  • You have more than 10 years of professional experience in Product Management;
  • You bring deep product expertises on products which are AI-native, voice based, and revenue generating.
  • You have a successful track record of leading product teams and delivering world-class products for diverse type of users; 
  • You have experience creating products with compelling and innovative user experiences enabled by advanced technologies; 
  • While being a functional leader; you always drive your teams through business goals; 
  • You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to represent and advocate to executive leadership business or technical concepts; 
  • You are able to build complex roadmaps while being very agile and are able to shift priorities to maximize business outcomes;  
  • You are customer obsessed and always put the customer at the core of every initiative you drive;
  • You are analytical and data driven; 
  • You have worked in an international environment and are able to think global / act local;
  • You are a positive and entrepreneurial leader; 
  • Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve. We’re looking for lifelong learners; 
  • You are fluent in English and fluent in either French or German
  • You recognize yourself in Doctolib’s Playbook
