Associate Exploitation Project Manager

We are looking for a self-motivated and curious professional who thrives in a dynamic research and innovation (R&I) environment. As an Associate Exploitation Project Manager, you will play a key role in developing exploitation strategies, conducting business planning, performing Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and techno-economic analyses, and ensuring the successful commercialization of research and innovation results. Additionally, you will support proposal writing for Horizon Europe Grants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement exploitation strategies and business plans for Horizon Europe projects.
• Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities, business models, and commercialization pathways for research and innovation outcomes.
• Engage with project partners, external stakeholders, and industry players to support market adoption.
• Contribute to exploitation work packages (WP) and ensure effective knowledge transfer.
• Conduct Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and techno-economic analyses to assess the financial feasibility of project results (e.g. products, processes, services, etc).
• Support cost-benefit evaluations for research innovation assets.
• Conduct financial projections to assess the economic viability of research outcomes.
• Support the writing of Horizon Europe proposals, focusing on exploitation, impact, and business planning.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to align proposals with market needs and EU priorities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in Horizon Europe or H2020 projects with involvement in exploitation planning.
• LCC analysis and/or techno-economic evaluation.
• Experience in proposal writing for EU-funded projects.
• Strong initiative, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in English, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of statistical or econometric packages (would be a plus).
