Warehouse Associate

DSI is a sales enablement company with an immediate career opportunity for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our distribution center in Sparks, Nevada. This key role is responsible for shipping and receiving and must have a general knowledge in all phases of warehousing. To succeed in this role, you will need to have intermediate computer skills, warehouse management system experience is preferred.

As the Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for, invoices, and the fulfillment of orders. Additionally, you will load and unload trucks; prior experience in operating a sit-down forklift is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

This is an in-person position that will report to our Warehouse in Sparks, Nevada
Schedule: Full-time Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm

• Shipping and Receiving
• Loading and unloading trucks utilizing a forklift or pallet jack
• Utilizing a warehouse management system
• Picking and packing

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience

• MUST have experience in Receiving/Returning shipments
• Operating a sit-down forklift preferred
• Utilizing warehouse management systems
• Capacity to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence
• Ability to write simple correspondence and add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units

Computer Skills

• Must have intermediate computer skills, preferably in a warehouse environment that utilizes FedEx and local freight carriers
• Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel
• Experience with an inventory management system is a plus
