Counter Sales is a customer facing position that assists contractors, homeowners, and DIYers inside the store. From kitchen remodels to bird houses, Counter Sales should be able to adapt and be flexible to the customer’s project and their comfort level in talking about materials. Helping customers includes generating sales, writing quotes, processing returns, researching special order products, and accurately presenting all our available services including custom cuts and deliveries. Above all, Counter Sales should be focused on product knowledge and creating lasting relationships with our customers.
This is a Full-Time job working 40 hours per week with overtime eligibility!
Store Hours are Monday-Friday from 6:55am-6:05pm, Saturday from 7:55am-5:05pm.
Current available schedules are:
T - F: 6:40am-3:30pm, S: 7:40am-5:05pm
OR
T - F: 9:30am-6:05pm, S: 7:30am-5:05pm
Employees must possess the ability to perform the following duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have competent typing skills, proficient in general computer operations, and a strong communication skills. Prior retail experience is preferred.

This is an entry level position with a two-week training period and continued learning while employed. The two-week training is completed on site with your supervisor OR at a Training Yard with the Training Department. The training for this position will focus on product knowledge, Point of Sale software, and yard operations.
This position is in a retail store environment. This position is largely sedentary with stools at each station. The noise level is moderate.
