We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to sit within the Marketing team and help accelerate pipeline growth. In this role, you’ll focus on qualifying inbound leads, nurturing marketing-engaged prospects, and supporting targeted outbound efforts tied to marketing campaigns. You’ll work closely with the sales teams to optimize lead conversion and ensure high-quality prospects enter the pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing campaigns to assess sales readiness and ensure high-quality prospects enter the pipeline
  • Nurture engaged prospects who aren’t yet sales-ready, guiding them further down the funnel
  • Execute outbound prospecting tied to marketing campaigns, including event follow-ups and ABM outreach
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to engage with prospects, support lead generation efforts, and conduct follow-ups
  • Monitor performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, pipeline progression, and business impact
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff, share insights on prospect engagement, and refine outreach strategies
  • Leverage CRM tools to track, manage, and engage with leads efficiently
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to ensure clean data and smooth sales handoffs
  • Support process improvements for lead nurturing, routing, scoring and overall sales alignment
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, content engagement, and messaging effectiveness to improve marketing efforts

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or lead generation role (preferably in B2B SaaS)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to craft engaging outreach and hold discovery conversations
  • Experience working with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot CRM) to track and manage leads
  • Ability to analyze lead engagement data, campaign performance, and pipeline progression to optimize outreach
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across marketing and sales teams.
  • Understanding of marketing funnels, lead nurturing, and demand generation principles
  • Experience conducting personalized outbound prospecting (email, LinkedIn, phone) based on marketing insights
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and follow-ups effectively
We are targeting an OTE of $64,000 - $86,000, which includes a combination of base salary and commission. Individual compensation packages may vary based on candidate skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position-related factors.
In addition to cash compensation, our total rewards package includes:
  • Full medical benefits, including dental and vision plans, to ensure you always have the best care.
  • Equity packages in the form of stock options for all employees.
  • Technology (hardware, software, reading materials, etc.) allowance.
  • Flexible vacation and sick days.

At Dutchie, we’re committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
