team so that we can continue to bring our product offering to the UKI, where we have been established for 3 years. Our team is based in London, and while we’re experts at being flexible (with the HQ in Melbourne, Australia) our UK team gets together 2-3 days per week to collaborate on projects and learn from each other.

The role we are seeking is a talented Business Development Representative to support us in growing our presence into the UK market.

The Role

You'll be responsible for identifying and qualifying quality projects for the public noticeboard and establishing meetings with main contractors in order to create and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.

As a Business Development Representative in our International team, you will be:

  • Qualifying and nurturing inbound leads to generate meetings for our BDMs
  • Booking high-quality meetings for the BDM’s through outbound prospecting into existing opportunities
  • Generating new leads for yourself, and turning these into opportunities for the BDMs
  • Keeping detailed notes in the system on the customer and learnings in discovery
  • Working closely with marketing to hone our advertising campaigns and inbound traction

About You

  • You have customer related experience and zero phone fear, you're eager to pick up the phone and speak directly to customers
  • You've got the sales DNA, you're self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously to deliver against monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • You're a natural conversationalist, you enjoy discovery conversations and the art of persuasion
  • You're comfortable with ambiguity working with a product in a new market, and are happy to test things and fail or win fast! 
  • You're eager to share knowledge gained from sales activities back to the team and support our other sales teams with your expertise
  • You're hungry and love to win, with a demonstrated appetite for striving for success
