ORGANIZATION
Comp Sci High (CSH) is a work-based learning, computer science, charter high school in the Bronx. Our mission is to ensure every student graduates with college acceptance letters, high tech skills, real work experience, and a plan to turn those opportunities into a successful career. If we had to reduce our mission to a single metric, we aim to get every student to the national median income by the age of 25. For this year's graduates, that means a $100,000 income by 2032.
At CSH, students build knowledge, skills, and maturity through a demanding curriculum, regular contact with industry professionals, real work experience, and an advisory program that builds the skills and knowledge to get every graduate to median income by the age of 25.
Every CSH team member plays an important role in ensuring that we accomplish our shared mission to propel our scholars to economic freedom by employing a computing curriculum, work based-learning, and long-term alumni support. By laying out clear responsibilities and goals for each role within our organization, we hope to enable every team member to understand what excellence looks like and how they need to align with CSH’s values and culture.

OPPORTUNITY
The Principal in Residence will work directly with CSH leadership to eventually lead the day-to-day academic, operational, and cultural life of the school, ensuring that every student experiences rigorous instruction in a safe, supportive environment. This role will lead to a sole Principal role by the 2026-27 school year.
Partnering closely with the Executive Director and senior leadership team, this role will work to set the campus-level vision for instruction and continuous improvement, drives strategic execution of the academic program, and fosters a culture aligned with CSH’s mission and values. You will oversee the school year work toward supervising school staff, managing academic and operational logistics, engaging families and external partners, and delivering on key performance goals.
Accountable to the Executive Director, the Principal in Residence will ensure that the school site remains mission-driven, student-focused, and operationally excellent.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $ 200,000, and a robust benefits package. More details can be provided upon request.
