Job Summary

As the Retail Sales Account Management Intern, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Ulta account team. You’ll help manage the logistics for sample requests, track and send physical samples, and support retail item setup. You'll also collaborate across teams to ensure timely customer requests are met and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in managing retailer relationships, supporting product launches, and understanding the overall retail experience.

Responsibilities:

- Sample Request Management: Process and send out sample requests to retailers and partners from the office, ensuring all shipments are timely and accurate.

- Sample Tracking: Track the status of all samples sent to retailers and partners to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

- Retail Item Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and setup of retail items for e.l.f. products at key retailers like Ulta.

- Customer Request Fulfillment: Ensure all customer inquiries and requests for information are addressed promptly and professionally.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, sales, product development) to ensure seamless communication and execution across projects.

- Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with key retail partners and decision-makers, focusing on e.l.f. SKIN and e.l.f. Cosmetics.

- Launch Calendar & Event Support: Assist in managing launch calendars, coordinate events at Ulta, and contribute to the planning and execution of retail activities.

- Account Management Learning: Gain firsthand experience in account management and support across retail activities, especially with Ulta and other key accounts.

Requirements:

- Currently a rising Junior/Senior pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Passion for Beauty: A strong interest in beauty, personal care, and the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry, preferably with a focus on beauty products.

- Strong Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for both internal collaboration and external relationship-building.

- Planning & Organizational Skills: Strong ability to stay organized, manage multiple tasks, and ensure timely follow-through on all activities.

- Analytical & Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data, create reports, and deliver presentations.

- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks, from sample requests to tracking launch events.

- Self-Motivated & Proactive: Ability to work independently, troubleshoot challenges, and take initiative on projects without constant supervision.
