Business Development Representative

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving the growth of our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic planning and project management skills, along with a passion for sales and business development. Duties

  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new customers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and negotiation.
  • Utilise Salesforce and other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track leads, manage accounts, and report on sales activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored proposals that meet client needs.
  • Participate in networking events and industry conferences to promote our services and expand our market reach.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs to inform product development strategies.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within a related industry.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and negotiation.
  • Familiarity with software solutions relevant to business development processes.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM systems for managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
