We are seeking a proactive and motivated Office / Production Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various office tasks while also having the opportunity to shadow and learn from other team members, gaining valuable insights into the creative production process.
Based in our Los Angeles office, you’ll be joining a high-performing team in an environment that values pushing creative boundaries and breaking lazy binaries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office Coordinator
- Perform general office duties such as managing storage, maintaining a tidy office space, and organizing grocery and lunch runs.
- Coordinate office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Provide administrative support to team members as needed, including receipt management and travel coordination, as needed.
- Oversee office presentation & ensure it is maintained to an exceptional standard that reflects Entropico’s high standard.
- Ensure visitors & client experience to the Entropico workplace is best-in-class.
- Help maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Improve current office systems to create more streamlined operations & present innovative solutions to potential issues.
- Assist with company events from small lunch bookings to all-staff Holiday parties, as well as birthday and anniversary celebrations.
- Ideate on initiatives or events that contribute to the overall culture of Entropico.
- Preparing high-quality documents, letters, correspondence and reports and proofing/reviewing correspondence and reports.
Production Coordinator
- Support our team of producers with administrative tasks associated with shoots, such as printing paperwork, uploading receipts, collecting gear, booking client travel, or organising catering.
- Create and maintain production documents as required.
- Attend production sets if required to assist Producers from time to time.
- Coordinate and manage various production projects as required.
- Shadow and learn from other team members in various departments, including production, marketing, and design.
- Assist with research projects and contribute ideas to ongoing creative projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- ESSENTIAL: Driver’s License (of any class) and owning your own car is essential, as you will be required to run errands with your car. We also require a clean driving record.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to oversee multiple tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Interest in the creative production industry.
- Ability to work independently but also follow instructions thoroughly.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Previous office experience is preferred but not required skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit/stand/kneel/crouch
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to travel as required
- (On Set) Ability to lift & utilize full range of movement to move equipment, including bend to retrieve, lift and carry equipment (within reason)
