About the role

The Partnerships Account Manager will be responsible for establishing and nurturing key partnerships with land and commercial agents, consultants, planners, brokerages and other third-party professionals. These partners work with end users requiring Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) units. The role's primary focus is on generating new business opportunities through strategic partnerships, ensuring seamless integration of these leads into the company's sales processes, and supporting overall business growth through market insights and customer feedback.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify, establish, and manage formal partnerships with consultant organisations to the development and infrastructure sectors, and other relevant third parties.
  • Leverage these partnerships to generate qualified enquiries for BNG units, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to encourage advocacy for our solutions within their client networks and sharing of data to support internal decision-making including competitor information.

Lead Generation:

  • Develop and implement strategies for partners to generate high-quality leads for BNG units.
  • Identify potential tender and framework opportunities and support tender writing processes.
  • Ensure leads generated through partnerships are seamlessly integrated into the broader sales funnel for efficient follow-up and conversion.

 Partnership Agreements:

  • Create and manage partnership agreements that incentivise lead generation and support mutual business growth.
  • Ensure all agreements are compliant and aligned with the company’s overall business goals and sales processes.

Essential:

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate partnerships into sales opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work as part of a team towards targets and KPI’s.

Desirable:

  • Effective analytical skills to gather, analyze, and present market data and feedback.
  • Experience of tender/bid writing.
  • Good market/sector knowledge allowing you to hit the ground running and provide expert advice both to partners and internal stakeholders.
  • A passion for the environment and restoring nature.
