We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to be based Northern California, primarily to support the Company's growing business in the greater Sacramento area (Sacramento, Folsom, Roseville, Woodland, Davis, Knights Landing). Supporting the Northern and Central California regions, performing installation and system commissioning, service calls, recurring maintenance, account engagement, and managing equipment and facilities. Responsibilities & Tasks - Learn and follow field engineering processes, procedures, and schedules for servicing customers in the assigned area of responsibility; assist in developing new and refining existing SOPs.
- Conduct site surveys per EPIC iO’sprocesses and assist in site design using the EPIC iO suite of products, partner systems, and equipment.
- Configure and make ready equipment and products for system deployment.
- Train and manage third-party vendors in the delivery of EPIC iOproducts and services.
- As an independent and proactive team member, ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
- Manage projects within or including large construction and heavy equipment work sites, coordinating with other contractors, project managers, and customer representatives.
- Build and maintain a thorough understanding of company equipment/system capabilities, technical specifications, product offerings and service pricing.
- Perform manual labor as required in conjunction with coordinating and executing customer installations, service calls, and demobilization of equipment.
- Assist in wiring, configuring, and QC of solutions and systems before deployment in the field.
Required Qualifications - Ability to maintain composure, organization, and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starting mindset to tackle problems and find solutions with minimal oversight.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or technical college degree or bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical background preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in security or access controls installation, low voltage, system integration work, structured cabling, and/or network video configuration - will accept combination of experience and certification in lieu of formal higher learning degree.
- Project Management experience, including all phases – Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure.
- A clean driving record or validation of known citations; State of California Class A commercial license and towing experience is ideal.
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical/solar systems, software programming, and/or security solution design all pluses.
- Capacity to receive and apply constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

Desired Qualifications - Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics
- Wire harness routing and fabrication experience
- ExistingISNetworld / OSHA enrollment and safety certifications
- Networking or Networked Video Certification (CCNA; Axis, Bosch, Panasonic, or Hanwha network video camera systems; etc.)
Physical Requirements - Ability to lift 125 lbs, work in austere environments and inclement weather
- The job is at times located on a shop floor and individuals will be primarily standing during their work activities.
