We’re looking for an Associate Program Manager to join our team and help drive key initiatives for FPL (Faceit Pro League) across your region. This entry-to-mid-level role is perfect for someone with a passion for esports, competitive gaming, and product management, who is eager to learn and make a meaningful impact. You’ll support the coordination and execution of regional programs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure FPL delivers a world-class experience for players.
In this role, you’ll be a key part of the team, helping to track initiatives, gather and analyze player feedback, monitor player behavior, and ensure the product meets local needs.
What you will do:
Assist in Program Planning & Execution
- Support Program Management: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of regional programs aimed at improving the player experience, product features, and community engagement.
- Track Milestones: Help ensure that programs are executed on time, on budget, and according to specifications. Monitor timelines and flag any potential delays.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Social Media, etc.) to ensure alignment and support in achieving regional goals.
Data Collection & Reporting
- Survey Implementation: Help design and distribute surveys to gather player feedback on their experiences, concerns, and suggestions.
- Analyze Feedback: Assist in analyzing survey results and player data, identifying trends, and providing insights to inform program decisions.
- Engagement Tracking: Monitor player engagement metrics (e.g., participation, retention, matchmaking activity) and assist in preparing regular reports on regional health.
Regional Player Engagement & Support
- Assist in Player Support: Help monitor player feedback, concerns, and disputes, ensuring that players feel heard and that any problems are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Onboarding Support: Help manage new player induction processes, ensuring they are familiar with FPL, the platform, and how to get the most out of their experience.
- Relationship Building: Assist in building strong relationships with players by conducting check-ins and providing support throughout their competitive journey.
Behavioral Monitoring & Program Improvement
- Monitor Player Behavior: Assist in tracking player behavior to ensure adherence to FPL’s behavioral standards, helping to log and report any concerns.
- Identify Issues: Help spot potential issues in the player experience (e.g., declining engagement, rising complaints) and support the team in addressing them effectively.
- Support Rule Enforcement: Assist in ensuring fair enforcement of FPL rules, working with the moderation team to maintain a positive, competitive environment.
Content & Stream Support
- Content Collaboration: Assist with content creation by identifying key moments from streams (e.g., VODs, highlights) and working with the Social Media Team to share this content with the community.
Program Communication & Documentation
- Internal Communication: Support communication between regional teams and other departments, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed about ongoing programs, challenges, and successes.
- Documenting Processes: Help document workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices for regional initiatives, ensuring consistency across programs.
- Player Communication: Assist in crafting clear, concise messaging to players regarding updates, new initiatives, and important information relevant to their experience.
- 2 Years of Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in gaming or esports, ideally within creator or community-related position
- Knowledge of key Game Ecosystems: Strong knowledge and understanding of Counter-Strike and/or Overwatch 2 ecosystems
- Strong Communication Skills: Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with internal teams and communicating with players in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Analytical Mindset: Basic knowledge of data analysis or experience with tools like Excel/Google Sheets to track and report on player data and feedback.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Team Player: Collaborative, with the ability to work across functions and manage relationships with different teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Esports Platforms: Familiarity with FACEIT or similar competitive gaming platforms is a plus.
- Project Management Tools: Experience with tools like Jira and Monday.com
- Agile Methodology: Basic understanding of Agile project management practices is helpful.
- Established network: Having an established network of players and creators that you can utilize.
