Quality Engineer

The Opportunity

We are looking for QA Engineer’s to join our expanding Tech & Product Hub in Madrid. As part of a strategic investment in our technology, we are building new teams to enhance our platform and develop innovative e-commerce products that will shape the future of online shopping. The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

In this role, you will collaborate with a team of designers, developers and product managers to make sure quality is embedded in both processes and technology, leveraging test automation as a key deliverable to provide test coverage and mitigate risks in pre and post production environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your team to identify and automate the appropriate tests
• Working with the team to establish and maintain a fast, reliable pipeline that provides valuate feedback on every change as it moves towards production and beyond.
• Collaborate with your team to explore and uncover unexpected risks in the application.
• Participate (and lead when required) quality related team practices such as "3 amigos" type sessions and exploratory testing sessions.

Requirements

• 3+ years commercial experiences in automated testing
• Experience with exploratory testing
• Experience in applying different techniques, tools and approaches based on context
• Experience in testing technically complex systems
• Strong problem solving skills
• Passionately team-oriented and collaborative
• Knowledge of scalable and maintainable automation design patterns.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies and automated strategies
