Job Description

Our new Phoenix, AZ Lab is looking for a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to work between clients, the Production Control department and our team of scientists to reliably deliver timely client data.  The Production Control Coordinator will be responsible for proactively meeting the administrative support needs of the Engineering team & their clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Log and track the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the lab.
  • Obtain purchase orders.
  • Label and store samples in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Provide support with Facilities and Maintenance.
  • May perform courier duties as needed to support lab and client needs.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience supporting multiple departments and sites in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail; integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Strong customer service focus, highly organized, responsible, and detail oriented.
  • Work independently under time constraints and manage a multitude of tasks efficiently. 
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**This position works with companies that deal with defense-related activities and is subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). All accepted applicants must be U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR:**

  1. U.S. Citizen
  2. U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. “Green Card Holder”)
  3. Political Asylee or Refugee

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $23-$26/per hour. (Pay rate is commensurate with experience and degree of technical expertise.)

Physical Requirements:  

  • Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment. 
  • Ability to use a telephone, access file cabinets, receive and ship customer products
  • Ability to sit for periods of time
  • Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
  • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
  • Ability to lift to 10 lbs.
