The Supply Chain Clerk will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the supply chain function, ensuring seamless procurement, inventory tracking, and production scheduling in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ERP systems (Sage X3) and Excel to manage supply chain data efficiently.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in procurement activities, including placing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, perform regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Support production scheduling by coordinating material availability with manufacturing schedules.
- Enter and manage supply chain data in ERP systems (Sage X3) to ensure accurate reporting and real-time updates.
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, procurement activities, and production timelines.
- Collaborate with internal departments, including manufacturing, quality control, and finance, to streamline supply chain operations.
- Address supply chain issues proactively, working with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delays or shortages.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding procurement and inventory management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supply chain, procurement, or inventory management role within a manufacturing environment.
- ERP Experience: Familiarity with Sage X3 required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot supply chain issues and implement solutions proactively.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION AND CLASSIFICATION:
- Classification: Contract position (Temp to Perm)
- Location: Sunnyvale, CA
- The base salary range for this position is $ 88,000 - $102,000 per year which represents the low and high end of the anticipated annual salary range for this position.
- Please note that actual offer will vary based on factors including, but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors including internal equity. As such, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the lower or upper end of the range. Please also note the compensation range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
