Scope of Position:

The position will be responsible for the first level of support for the Scale application users. Will also help implement new functionality within MA as the Labor Management tool; defining productivity baselines and leading the implementation efforts.

Responsibilities will include managing the system reporting capabilities (DB2 - Cognos) and addressing user and client reporting requests.

 The position will also support quality assurance testing of delivered system changes and training and implementation of any system changes into production. Will also include monitoring that best practices within the application are followed and new best practices are defined.

Additional responsibilities include support of continual process improvements to enhance the level of distribution operation efficiency, quality and productivity. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• On call 24 x 7 for any operational issues that may come up.
• Level 1 support for Scale users.
• Maintenance and administration of Labor Management capabilities.
• Documentation of system issues to be addressed by Scale
• Support system training efforts.
• QA Testing of Scale delivered fixes and improvements.
• Subsequent new customer ‘on boarding’ support for the Scale WMS system
• Proactively seek out implementation opportunities, build beneficial cases to share with Regional and Branch Management
• Support branch staff as needed regarding WMS ‘best practice’ usage to support new or changing business systems requirements.

• “Knowledgeable” Level Distribution process for VMI services
• “Knowledgeable” Level Manhattan Associates WMOS functional and configuration knowledge and user capabilities.
• Above average basic PC knowledge/skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office PC software applications
• Strong SQL Skills
• Proven Creativity and Problem Solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Organizational and Time management skills – ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously.
• Prior Warehousing and Distribution Operations experience desired
