Job Description

Reporting to the Analytics Engineering Manager, the Analytics Analyst will work as part of a team that delivers high quality reporting and analytical solutions for Experian Health Clients. Their core responsibilities will include setting up new implementations, monitoring systems, and making changes to existing solutions. They will have an opportunity to work with many products’ data vital to the US health care industry

You will:

  • Monitor alerts and escalate high priority issues
  • Setup and support user and report implementations with admin tools
  • Handle research and support cases working alongside product and relationship managers
  • Have analytical skills to evaluate and interpret data both from an internal and client perspective
  • Understand relational database structure and our goals to extract and organize relevant data for reporting analysis
  • Perform data analysis, on time, to deliver analytics to help make better decisions along with managing and improving goals
  • Designing reports that answer business questions and make the most of Tableau’s capabilities
  • Analyze results and communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Understand analytic questions and create data extract strategies, write SQL and interpret results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mathematics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of BI (Business Intelligence) reporting systems such as Tableau
  • Understand software development principles and operations
  • Experience developing transact SQL (MSSQL, Oracle, Impala, Hive, Postgres)
  • English proficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas and analytic results effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with Python
  • Analytical Skills: Data Analysis, Logic, Statistics
  • Computer Applications: Tableau (or similar BI Tool), SQL, Python
  • Ability to work remotely
