Job Description

The role of Client Support Specialist is to perform support and sales activities for Experian's Preferred clients and prospects to develop new business relationships and strengthen the value of existing client relationships. Experian is looking for a candidate with the ability to perform a large variety of responsibilities for multiple clients. This opportunity provides you with the training and resources needed for professional development and a long-term career path in field sales. Reporting to the director of client success, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Preferred Sales team on non-revenue activities.
  • Develop knowledge of client environments to identify applications for Experian products.
  • Coordinate client communication for product/service changes.
  • Hold meetings with clients/prospects via phone and web tools.
  • Identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and refer to sales personnel.
  • Research sales and service opportunities within assigned areas.
  • Provide customer intelligence to sales and marketing.
  • Train users on Experian products to ensure proper usage.
  • Communicate client account maintenance needs to the team.
  • Maintain contact with users to enhance relationships.
  • Additional tasks: manage batch programs, assist with DaaS implementation, consult on compliance, handle cross-sell/upsell transmission, submit invoice credits/debits, manage client audits, set up subcodes, train clients, and manage reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of Customer Service
  • Some type of account management or equal experience
  • Knowledge of consumer credit reporting marketplace
  • Comfortable operating within a teamed selling approach with energy
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM system
  • Working experience partnering with different company members to achieve client needs
  • Working experience outside of the confines of traditional work day and work week is required

Additional Information

This is a permanent home-based role in Costa Rica. No relocation available.
