Job Description

What you’ll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in an agile environment, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work cross functionally to influence priorities and drive outcomes.
  • Good understanding of the procurement processes, digital subscriptions and customer experiences, as well as commercial data including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with or understanding of the small business economy and entrepreneurship is a plus.

Work that matters - What you’ll be doing

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to drive business growth and market expansion. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments. Align strategic initiatives with the company's vision and long-term goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing products. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and strategic planning. Analyze customer data and feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
  • Agile Management: Ensure effective sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative development, including writing detailed user stories, release planning and guiding your scrum team.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and successful product launches. Present strategic plans and product updates to the executive leaders.
  • Market Focus: Engage with industry and clients to gather feedback and insights, ensuring our products meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Represent our products and the business in public forums and industry events.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy & Sales Support: As the product SME, working with the product marketing, sales, presales teams to launch product
  • Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and metrics to track the performance of strategic initiatives and product developments. Regularly review and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions. Report on the progress of strategic initiatives and product performance to senior management.

Qualifications

More about you

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management with experience in supply chain, procurement, financial services, or direct-to-consumer subscription services.
  • Proven track record of introducing innovative products, services, or experiences in a competitive market.
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
