Content Creator

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Content Creator to join our People Team in a mission-critical role that supports the growth and success of team members across our senior living communities. This individual will be responsible for designing engaging, brand-aligned training content in our Learning Management System (LMS), identifying opportunities to enhance and gamify existing training programs, and delivering high-impact learning experiences rooted in adult learning strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of instructional design, gamification, and adult education principles to help elevate the learner experience for both the People and Operations Teams. They will be equal parts content creator, facilitator, strategist, and collaborator—bringing learning to life in fresh and meaningful ways for frontline and leadership team members alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development & Design:

  • Create compelling, interactive training modules, videos, eLearning experiences, job aids, and other assets that reflect the company’s brand and operational standards.
  • Incorporate gamification principles (e.g., achievements, rewards, simulations, storytelling, scenario-based learning) to improve engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical and procedural information into accessible, engaging content for adult learners.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards and is aligned with current operational priorities and regulatory guidelines.

Learning Strategy & Program Innovation:

  • Apply adult learning theory and instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy) to structure learning paths that meet diverse learner needs and drive performance outcomes.
  • Evaluate existing training programs to identify opportunities for enhancement, gamification, and re-alignment with company goals.
  • Leverage learner feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to refine and improve content effectiveness.

Training Delivery & Facilitation:

  • Facilitate both virtual and in-person training sessions for new hires, leaders, and teams across departments, using dynamic, learner-centered approaches.
  • Support onboarding and leadership development initiatives through engaging facilitation and content support.
  • Assist in developing scalable facilitator guides and train-the-trainer resources for consistent delivery across locations.

Collaboration & Culture Building:

  • Partner closely with the People Team and Operations Team to ensure learning solutions align with culture, values, and business objectives.
  • Stay informed of trends in learning technology, digital storytelling, and adult education to bring fresh ideas and continuous improvement to the function.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience designing training content in a corporate, healthcare, or service-focused environment.
  • Must have experience developing and administering training content for a multi-site, multi-state organization which is made up of a nationally dispersed workforce.
  • Proven experience creating and facilitating learning experiences for adult learners in both digital and live settings.
  • Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, or similar).
  • Experience with compliance training related to healthcare regulations is preferred.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a highly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated experience using gamification techniques to enhance learning programs.
  • Knowledge of adult learning science and practical application of instructional models (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick Levels, experiential learning).
  • Familiarity with modern learning tools, AI-driven platforms, or microlearning strategies.
