Senior Trading Operations Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute trading operations to support the company's investment strategies.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with portfolio management, investment teams, and traders to implement trading strategies.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on building out new processes and product offerings for our members.
• Maintain relationships with trading partners, custodians, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of trading operations.
• Stay current on market trends, regulatory developments, and other factors that may impact trading decisions.
• Identify and resolve trading-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Create and maintain training materials for the department, and facilitate regular training sessions with associates and planners.
• Serve as a subject matter expert departments across the firm on various trading related topics.
• Work directly with members on resolving complex requests related to IRA transactions, cost basis, and money movement.
• Ability to take on special projects and additional duties across the investment operations organization.

• 5+ years of experience in trading operations or a related field.

• Knowledge of trading operations, financial markets, and securities regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Preferred:

• Experience with trading and allocating separately managed accounts (SMA) and/or unified managed accounts (UMAs).
• Extensive knowledge and experience working with portfolio rebalancing software such as Orion Eclipse, Envestnet, or Addepar.
• Experience with sleeved trading practices, including the oversight and reconciliation of multiple sleeves within a portfolio.
• Deep understanding of direct indexing strategies, tax-loss harvesting, and large-scale ETF trading across multiple custodians.

• $90,000 - $100,000 annual salary + bonus determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant - Please note, our salary ranges are based on current market data.
