IT Quality Assurance Test Lead/ Test Manager

We are looking for passionate, multi-talented IT Quality Assurance Lead/Test Manager to join our dynamic team of consultants within FINARTIX. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of quality assurance practices, methodologies, and tools, with a proven track record of leading successful testing efforts in IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end quality assurance processes for IT projects.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee and mentor QA team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to quality assurance activities.
  • Monitor project and QA phases progress and performance metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders and management.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and external vendors or partners.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries, clarifications, and escalations, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years in IT Quality Assurance roles, with hands-on expertise in managing testing phases.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Waterfall, Agile, and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • One of the following certifications is required: CAST, CSTE, CSQA, CMSQ, Advanced Level Test Analyst or Test Manager (ISTQB).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Very good MS- Project and MS-Office skills; JIRA tool skills are desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial character.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in Greek and English.
