Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):- Support accounting team with daily operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger activities.
- Enter and reconcile daily sales summaries from various locations.
- Enter various other accounting data such as checks, credit card purchases, and deposits.
- Reconcile monthly vendor statements and balances, credit card statements, and intercompany transactions.
- Communicate with clients via email and phone regarding billing questions or concerns.
- Use Sage Intacct to perform data entry tasks in a timely manner while ensuring accurate recording of all transactions.
- Utilize software and systems to input and retrieve financial data.
- Assist with year-end close and end-of-month duties.
- Collaborate with departments to gather necessary documentation.
- Have an "All Hand On Deck" mindset! We work together as a team and don't hesitate to help in other areas.
- Assist the Accounting Manager and Controller with other miscellaneous tasks when needed.
Education and/or Experience:- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field is preferred, not required
- 3 or more years of experience in a related position
- Must be personable and enjoy building relationships with others
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Experience using Sage Intacct is highly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; highly skilled in Excel
- Experience using Basecamp and other online platforms preferred but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail
- Self-starter and takes initiative to dig in to find solutions to problems
- Punctual, dependable, and committed to the demands of deadlines
- Willing to put in extra hours when business demands
