Junior Data Analyst (Hybrid - Guadalajara, MX)

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Data Analyst to support the analysis, reporting, and modeling of operational and financial data. This role will focus on key areas such as conference registrations, surveys, volunteer engagement, marketing performance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Data and Analytics Strategy & Execution

• Develop and implement comprehensive plans for analyzing and reporting on registration and survey data for conferences, including registrant types, survey responses, and response rates.
• Conduct analysis and reporting on registration and survey data, identifying trends and insights.
• Analyze and report on marketing data, including website visits, email engagement metrics, social media, and paid advertising performance.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, tracking budget versus actual results.
• Monitor and analyze market trends related to conferences, professional education, sponsorships, and emerging target audiences.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI for real-time data visualization.
• Collaborate with industry associations and organizations to contribute to industry-wide data analysis initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Google Analytics, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), Power BI.
• Salesforce, Sage Intacct, Solver, Cvent, Asana.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience with demonstrated competencies in data analysis and reporting).
• 1-4 years of work experience in data analysis, reporting, or related fields.
• Project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement with professional certifications in data and analytics, project management, and software applications
