The Job in a Nutshell 💡 

This is a role for a Senior Data Analyst within Foodics, a leading Restaurant POS SaaS company operating across the GCC, Egypt, and Jordan. As a key contributor to Foodics’ mission of empowering restaurants to achieve operational excellence, you will spearhead analytics for Customer Operations. You will play a pivotal role in building a robust data infrastructure, designing insightful dashboards, and driving data-driven decisions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do ❓

• Partner with cross-functional operational teams to deliver data-driven visibility through dashboards and visualizations that support target achievement and performance monitoring.
• Translate business questions into actionable data requirements by leading discovery analyses and opportunity sizing to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define success metrics and KPIs, identify data gaps, and uncover improvement areas across operations, product, and customer experience.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Meta base, Superset, or equivalent platforms, ensuring they are scalable, interactive, and actionable.
• Support the development and optimization of data pipelines and ETL workflows in collaboration with data engineers to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
• Write, review, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets for both ad hoc and recurring analysis.
• Act as a data consultant to business teams, gathering requirements, delivering strategic recommendations, and aligning BI solutions with evolving business goals.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in data models, dashboards, and data sources, ensuring high reliability and responsiveness of analytics outputs.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and governance across all BI deliverables, while adhering to internal data security and compliance standards.

What Are We Looking For ❓

• 4 years of experience in BI development, data analysis, or related fields
• Expert proficiency in SQL, with experience handling large datasets
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools, including custom visualizations and complex data modeling
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Proven ability to manage and deliver end-to-end BI projects
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
